The original styling of Overwaters flagship series of through neck basses combines balance, access and playability with outstanding clarity of tone and visual elegance. Ebony or rosewood fingerboards are standard and all Progress basses are equipped with Overwaters own exclusive electronics, pick-ups and hardware. Available tone woods include ash, mahogany, walnut and sycamore.
Classic
Classic basses feature a five piece maple and walnut through neck section, with a two piece body section from a choice of standard timbers, plus others to custom order when available.
Deluxe
Deluxe basses feature the same neck section and body woods as the Classic, but with a wide choice of exotic overlaid tops and veneer stringers. Our most popular model by far.
Elite
Elite models represent something quite special, with specs as for the 'Deluxe' model, but with extra figured book matched tops and the addition of a matching back and other detailing such as matching wood truss rod covers.
Anniversary
Originally introduced to celebrate our 20th anniversary in 1999, this model represents the definitive example of our craft. Because of its exclusive nature, the Anniversary is only built to order. Essentially the laminations are the same as our Elite models, with the addition of fully overlaid top and 3 piece back section. Only the most stunning pieces of timber are incorporated with solid silver and abalone inlays and logo, engraved truss rod cover and silver plated hardware.
