J Series
The J Series are a range of traditionally inspired basses designed to combine classic looks with Overwater craftsmanship, sound and playability.
This series is available as either a 4 or 5 string model with a 34" or 35" scale length, a choice of rosewood or maple fingerboards, with a choice of active electronics from Audere Audio or E Pro ‘J Retro' with a either traditional J or contemporary Soapbar pickups, and with the option of Hipshot chrome, black or gold plated hardware.

Classic
Classic basses feature a traditional 1 piece maple neck, with a two piece body section from a choice of 3 standard timbers, swamp ash, tulipwood or sycamore, in a variety of high gloss finishes.
Deluxe
Deluxe J Series basses feature the same neck and body woods as the Classic, but with a choice of figured overlaid tops including quilted, flame and birds-eye maple, block inlay fingerboard position markers.
Both Classic and Deluxe J Series basses feature traditional bell plate mounted controls and a choice of scratch-plate materials.
Vintage
J Series Vintage Basses feature the traditional vintage styling of more rounded body profile, scratch plate, bell shaped control plate and front mounted jack socket.
Contemporary
Sharing the same neck and body options as the Classic J Series basses, the Contemporary has a slightly sleeker body profile, no scratch plate and the controls are back routed, leaving the face of the bass clear of all but the essentials of pick-ups, bridge and controls.
As with all J Series basses the Contemporary is available in a variety of natural and tints and sunburst finishes in addition to solid colours. Matching headstock finishes are also an attractive option.
